SIHANOUK VILLE

     Most visitors to Sihaknouk Ville travel from Phnom Penh by bus or taxi. There are several daily buses to/from Phnom Penh. Sihaknouk Ville can be approached by coastal ferry and road from Koh Kong City ( At the head lake of Koh Kong border crossing with Thailand) and by road from Kampot town.

     Though currently not the usual port of entry for most visitors, the Port of Sihaknouk Ville is an international gateway and visa are available for cruising ship passengers and other international arrival at the Port.

     There are no regular scheduled flights to Sihaknouk Ville at this time but the airport is currently undergoing renovation and should reopen soon at the end of 2007. If you are arriving by bus or taxi, you’ll be dropped off at the bus stop downtown. If you are coming from Koh Kong by ferry, you’ll disembark at the ferry dock nort of town.
